Our 2019 Holiday Gift Guide

We’re a week out from Black Friday, and we’ve got shopping on the brain. And since we always have baby names on the brain, we decided to gather up some of our favorite gifts that can be personalized with your little one’s oh-so-perfect moniker.

We dug through our Pinterest boards and our own stuff to give all you mamas, mamas-to-be, and partners and friends of mamas our very favorites. We don’t make any money off these recommendations; we just think that after you’ve spent months deciding on a baby name, you’d best flaunt it.

For Mom

1. Golden Thread’s gold disc necklace with diamond

These necklaces are THE BEST. I have two discs, engraved with the initials of my two kiddos, and I wear them on the same chain. I bought my first one five years ago (the version without the diamond though, because $$) and it’s still perfect.

2. GLDN by Layered + Long’s Perfect Bar bracelet

These little beauties are great for layering and perfect for gifting. I wear three stacked on my wrist at all times, all engraved with roman numeral dates (silver= wedding anniversary, gold= first child’s bday, rose gold= second child’s bday). Though they’d look just as great with names on them.

3. Secret Message Slider Necklace by Posh Totty Designs

How cool is this?! Your engraved words are hidden by the solid bar but can be revealed by sliding it up. It’s an updated twist on a classic heart locket, and it looks equally chic either way you wear it.

4. Mommy Rings from Monkeys Always Look

We are struck by the elegance of this set of stacking silver rings with the engraving on the side of the bands. Keeps the personalization sweet but subtle. And those slightly askew letters give it a vintage artsy typewriter vibe that makes it feel even more special.

For Baby

1. Newborn Knot Hat from LittleOnesLove

Okay, a hat on a newborn is always cute, but this one with its floppy knot and sewn-on baby name is just too much! And how perfect for a birth announcement: a photo of your baby wearing this with the date and birth stats written below it is all you need.

2. Wood Name Puzzle from Manzanita Kids

Teach your baby to recognize their name as they put together (aka chew on) this custom wooden name puzzle. Stylish and safe, the letters are made from solid wood and finished with organic beeswax.

3. Friendly Toys’ wooden toy helicopter

The Etsy shop Friendly Toys has so many personalizable eco-friendly toy options. But we’re partial to this adorable green helicopter, which is made all the more cute by the scripty-lettered “Walt” on the wheel.

4. Hooray, You Did It! personalized book

Hooray Heroes has personalizable books for all occasions and several plots to choose from. They even have holiday books! When you order, you design an avatar that resembles the little reader, so the character not only shares a name with the child but looks like them, too.

For the Nursery

1. Large Nursery Name Wood Sign from Wellwood Designs

This stunner would make the perfect addition to a little babe’s nursery. We love the warmth of the wood, and the circle shape makes it just a little different from your standard nursery sign. Plus, you can choose your font, stain, and paint colors to go with whatever theme you’ve dreamed up.

2. “Little Mister” personalizable print by Frooted Design

Minted is our favorite source for invitations and holiday cards, but their art is also amazing. We love that they spotlight independent artists, and this baby name print by Frooted Design has our hearts.

3. CrumandCo’s Personalized Name Meaning print

This modern print is EVERYTHING. It teaches your baby about the alphabet and even includes the meaning of their name. If you’ve chosen your baby’s name based on its meaning, this poster can help remind you what you love about the name every time you set foot in your baby’s room. This version has birth stats on it, too!

4. Modo Creative’s personalized name hoop

We’re fans of these name hoops, which feel a bit like vintage embroidery with modern geometric shapes. Perfect if your nursery steers a bit boho. The color palette is neutral enough to work in any space, and we always appreciate something lightweight on the walls of a nursery.

And those are our favorite personalizable baby-name holiday gifts. Readers, if you have any of these, let us know how you like them. And share your wish lists with us!

Happy Holidays, friends! And happy shopping.
